Oliver Perez will most certainly be out of Rotation!

For all the hand-wringing over self-respect versus driving ambitions Jerry Manuel does not often conceal his thoughts as his lips always vent them out but this time he has gone a bit too far as he was fined by Major League Baseball ruling body when he was found guilty of failing to comply with the game span of time on wednesday night when his team hosted the Florida Marlins at Citi Field. Certainly, he was dead wrong if he thought he was going to get away with it since his excuse was deemed to be not a valid one - whatever it was. In the meantime, the Mets' fans gave vent to their anger last night as they used abusive language to the fresh-faced Oliver Perez after his sluggish performance on the mound in 2 and 1/3 inning as he conceded five hits, four runs and six walks while striking out two batters. Indeed, it was a day of tempestuous emotions caused largely by frustration as evidenced by the Mets' fans reaction to the loss which their team suffered at the hands of the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park last night in Philadelphia; however, it must be said that Perez's confidence has fallen to an all time low since the start of this season and it appears that Perez might get the boot from the pitching rotation and perhaps be demoted to the bullpen or worse still which might subsume a trip to the minors.  Although it was Sean Green who allowed the walk which gave the victory to the Phillies most people blamed Perez for the loss as he was very ineffective during the time he spent on the mound. Final Score: Phillies  6   Mets  5.
