I have learned everything and all there is to know in baseball through personal participation but I have also learned that only the true warrior can fall off his horse in a battle while the faint-hearted can only watch and kneel to the recklessness of the brave but he who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish very little in life. Therefore, I salute Team Venezuela for having met my expectation and that of the Venezuelan fans as they avenged their loss to Team USA last night. Indeed, Team Venezuela Conquered their conqueros in a game in which pride and status were all at stake and to accomplish such an achievement Team Venezuela sought the inspiration of Luis Sojo, Venezuelan manager, to win the battle of wits. Once the latter had been won the strength of the team began to show as Henry Blanco dispatched a gargantuan homer over the left-field fence in the third inning to put Team Venezuela ahead. There was no calm after the storm as the venezuelan increased their lead in the fifth when once more Henry Blanco came home after Gregorio Blanco hit a triple to the deepest part of the center-field. In a trice the party carried on in the sixth inning as Team Venezuela scored twice in that inning to go further ahead. Although, the Americans managed to score three runs during the match it was a case of too little too late as they were swept by the Venezuelan who turned their dust into runs of gold to win the game.  Right-hand hurler, Victor Zambrano took the win. Final score:  Team Venezuela  5   Team USA  3.
