The 2009 World Baseball Classic is still far from over for Team Italy and Team Venezuela after a breathtaking performance by the former as they defeated a very good Canadian team last night in Toronto 6 runs to 2. Although, last night victory lifted up the Italians competitive spirit to a much intense point of an experience as the final out was made they know full well that the next match against the mighty Team Venezuela will be-all progress or end-all of their participation in the tournament. Nevertheless, they are still in it and in baseball absolutely anything could happen. Having said that this encounter promises to be a good match for the neutrals but a nervy one for the supporters of both sides as the fear of losing may prove to be a factor in the outcome of this game since the loser will be going home.
