Talking about the present plight of the economy!
29 January 2009
A stranger encounter and power of mind - Let us reflect!

Not getting enough sleep is apparently one of the most worrying issues of the present time all over the world as the downturn of the economy has hit hard on the economic resources of a very large number of people owing to lack of demand for goods and public spending which have prompted many manufacturers and shops to be forced to throw in the towel. Redundancies in masses have been fully documented daily in national newspapers and on television; indeed, the world as a whole appears to have been caught cold by the credit crunch and the worst of all is that there is not a simply solution to the plight of the economy right now. Indeed, a promptly economic recovery seems to be far off and out of sight at the moment and the end of the tunnel is almost as dark as the present situation. Having said that blood cannot be obtained from a stone neither can anything on account of idleness and negligence can be achieved but a solution to this predicament must be found fast or we are doomed. Certainly, one cannot always get what one wants as it proved to be the case when I found myself in an unfamiliar situation the other day when I went to see Mr. Brown, my Bank Manager, for a loan to keep my enterprise going. My meeting with him was over in less than ten minutes as he protested that he could not even sell himself to himself for the sum I asked for.  Nevertheless, I am fully convinced that the golden days will return as they are just hidden somewhere which we must find. I cannot pretend that I know what is required to straighten up the path of the economy but I would like to offer my opinion to the world and in doing so I expect the world to pay attention for I have the key to sort this mess. People might think that it is a drunken idiocy to hear my saying these things but I have a clear view of the future of the capital market and a potential solution to the credit crunch which created the present downturn and I think I have the missing link to stimulate employment world-wide as I believe that I have the intellectual resources and the talent to bring it about. I am looking forward to hearing from you, Mr. Brown.
