The International economy! Handle it with care!
14 January 2009
The Voice of the International Community in the United Kingdom and the world is crying out loudly for economical changes!

I was swayed by a sudden whim to stroll in an empty street and when I looked up there was a bright star shedding light into my path. I was filled with wonder and I felt grounded in my entire Physical structure and in my soul as I measured this fulfilment of joy.  Hang on a minute, was I being mugged? No! However, there was something missing and for the life of me I did not quite know what it was. Drama? Perchance! Having said that I knew that my courage and willingness to take on challenges will inspire me to create something for the day. I set out my intention and began to write about the world economy and its tribulations in the hope someone somewhere spots my talent for scribble so that my little dreams would take flight and help me to make a difference in the lives of many by helping others to do something about this difficult time we are all experiencing. Indeed, the fragile economy and the plight of the credit crunch have finally made a great number of people realise how bad things really are and open their eyes to the importance of being careful with the management of their outlay and their resources. Changes to the way we used to live, in the economical sense of the word, have to be introduced in every household since things are not getting any easier now as the threat of redundancy is looming and the number of people losing their jobs increase. Indeed, a scoop always makes an excellent reading on the front page of daily newspapers as it often raises abrupt sensationalism in order to evoke heterogeneous emotions and controversy within the structure and institutions of the community as a whole; nevertheless, unemployment is not a scoop since a great number of people have at one time of another experienced unemployment and therefore I would not press the panic button yet as the government is doing all it can to create jobs. Retraining, however, might be required in order to compete for those newly created jobs but I am sure that the Government has envisaged that issue and would provide the training required to effectively do those jobs. Be careful who you listen to since there many people who love nothing more than a bush telegraph to spread fear. Of course, the need for changes requires practicality and the belief that the right action is the one that brings about the greatest good for the greatest number of people in society but I believe that more than just a mere act of kindness in order to avoid drifting into irreversible syndromes of unemployment must be encouraged. Certainly, act quickly we must in order to head off the economical troubles of today as we need to find an answer to solve those issues promptly. Absolutely, the need to take an interest in what is going on in the world and its problem is no longer a concern for Diplomatics and the likes alone since what happens elsewhere affects us one way or the other. Long live the International Community and its welfare.
