I have come forth to support Hugo's re-election after 2012!
02 December 2008
Something to chew on over Christmas, perhaps!
A catalogue of failures in the past led to leave the average man without a shoulder to cry on in Venezuela that is the main reason for my asking the good men and women of this country to learn the lessons of the past and make an intellectual approach to the future. There is a situation offering a choice between two alternatives, the past and the dawn of a new era; get it wrong and the past will hound you like a soul who made a pact with the devil. Indeed, I am very serious about pledging my support to President Chavez push for re-election after 2012 since I believe he is a truly man of the people.  Certainly, at last, there is a politician who has earned my respect and unconditional support for he has, almost single-handed, rescued the country and its people from an uncertain future and an infamous political past in which the have not had very little to look forward to. I am a committed socialist and I have been inspired by his leadership and his stance against a sea of indifference which has tried with all its mighty to drown his belief of fairness and his vision of a better future for his people. I think it is time for the good men and women of Venezuela to stand up and be counted so that the nightmare, that this country once had, does not repeat itself. It was bad; I can tell you that much. Indeed, past experiences have made me appreciate President Chavez stand against the systematic indifference which was directed to the have not and those whose merciful philanthropy carried them to bellow on behalf of the people of Venezuela for there was a need to tell those in charge of the government how the people really felt. If there was ever a case to utter the cliché "Don't ever take what you have now for granted as you might miss it when it is no longer there," it is now.
