Rays are confident of washing the Red Sox clean at the Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay tonight while the Red Sox are instead planning a horror screaming night for the Rays' supporters who are seemingly planning a fever pitch celebration if the Rays defeat the visitors in the night!

Rays are all fired up for tonight outing with the Red Sox as, pitcher, James "Big Game" Shields has been summoned by manager Joe Maddon to put an end to Red Sox hopes of a comeback. Albeit, on paper, it appears to be an impossible task for the visitors no one can predict the outcome of this match since there is talent to burn on both sides and it would not surprise me if the series were to go to the wire. Indeed, Rays are on front foot as they only need to win one more game out of two to win the American League Pennant and go on and challenge for the right to be crowned Major League Baseball 2008 World Champions but the mighty Red Sox machine and its Skipper, Terry Francona, had been in this position before and I am qualified enough to suspect that they are designing a plan to engineer the mother of all comebacks at Tropicana Field tonight and by throwing their last year hurler champion, Josh Beckett, into the ring to try to silence Rays' artillery and fans speedily and efficiently from the top of the mound, they are signalling their intentions so that the series goes to a deciding last game. It will be good for the game of baseball though I cannot vouch for the centre of emotion of the Rays' die-hard fans.
