Figueras Baseball Academy's quest is to find a way in which we as people can derive benefits from the celebration of our differences and in our working in partnership so that we can convert ideas and opportunities into real benefits for local and world communities. I firmly believe that together we can do far more than being separated by the fences of our differences. indeed, it must be said that it is no longer  colour or ethnic issues alone that prompts us to think different as people and nation since homophobia and emigration have moved up the list of intolerance in recent times. Certainly, there are still many lightweight views about integration from all sides and I am fully aware that an awful lot of work needs to be done before the benefits of fully integration are enjoy by everyone.  Having said that I can see sunny spells ahead and I remain convinced that in the long run the world as a whole will see a reason for celebrating its differences and profit from them. I have often been called a dreamer as I often imagine the world being out of conflicts where people from all backgrounds are treated as equal and where everyone is welcomed to participate in the affairs of their respective countries and the world as a whole since in my view the world is what it is because of everyone's contribution to its development.  I am most certain that together we can all build a new world on the strength of our differences where ideas can flourish and people are celebrated for their achievement and their humanity so that we can all contribute to the development of the world as a whole and make it a better place to live as it will, in the absence of wars, bring progress and harmony to its inhabitants. However, fully integration and community cohesion are the missing ingredients needed now for the world to see the benefits of humanity participation, input and knowledge. I am very serious about what I wish the world was and I will endeavour to do my very best to gather support for my enterprise and reach those who are not yet escaped the woes of a troubled world since there is wisdom in taking an interest in what is going on in the world and I am pleased that I can offer a breath of fresh air to the world and its social issues by opening a window of learning to everyone. Absolutely, I care for the world and its social issues and I think that it would be selfish if I were to say that it had nothing to do with me just simply because it does not affect me; on the contrary, I think we should always help when there is a problem in the world and give its misery a well-needed touch of guidance. All in all, I believe that, in order to bring about the changes needed to fulfil my quest for fully integration, a fast forward vision of the benefits needs to be introduced in order to alter our natural way of thinking since it is of paramount importance that we as people realise that it is in everyone interest to revamp the way we think and focus on the benefits that full integration and community cohesion will bring to our troubled globe. Indeed, our intellect is sharp enough to cut glass; however, I am the first to admit that it is not often used to enhance our opportunities in life and open an eye to the reason for the world's current predicament as it is often used by the big boys to turn into power-seeking machines.  Haven't we been here before? I think it is fair to say that more often than not we tend to ignore what went before and take what come on leaps and bounds from the politicians without realising the seriousness of those fishy story that the politicians often invent to cause chaos in the world. In my view, they ought to stick to their responsibility to do what they have been elected for instead of mixing in other countries affairs. Peace on Earth is what I say.
