Figueras Baseball Academy 2006

When dreaming turned out to be the right thing to do I felt as happy as the days were long for I am a believer in applying real focus on something constructive, like building bridges in the community through co-operation, using the power of sport to help tackle issues such as improving health and fitness, developing education for young people, and by working together in partnership or as part of a team in order to make a visible difference to people's lives.

Learning is for life and the price is a good education.

At a time when the world is blighted by a not cool to be clever attitude with a growing number of children failing to meet the academic requirement needed to be socially successful the need for stressing the moral values prescribed by society has never been so weighty, Figueras Baseball Academy has been launched with the purpose of giving a learning hand and advice to parents on how to get their offsprings enthusiastic about learning the game of baseball and softball. It is the view of the academy that parents ought to emphasise to their kids the importance of learning an interest in finding out about things, in order to stimulate their curiosity, and, of course, we encourage parents to support their children's school by attending open days and building relationships with coaches and galvanise their kids to think about education in the long term.

Share our Vision

When one is trying to build a kingdom, one doesn't build one's castles in the air since buildings of that sort need to be fortified and well rooted into the earth in order to make them more stable. This is the reason for my believing that a good education is the most important start in life anyone can have. The need to be prepared to face the ups and downs of good and bad luck in life and succeed in today's world is of paramount importance and our aim in the Academy is to help everyone to achieve their maximum potential so that they can make a positive contribution to society as a whole.

In addition to coaching baseball and softball Figueras Baseball Academy is interested in encouraging the learning of British English Language in Hispanic-America and the rest of the world. We are guided by a philosophy at Figueras Baseball Academy which includes, comprehensively, honesty, for which we all must strive, our commitment to your development and our endeavour to encourage it so that you can accomplish what you want to achieve. At the heart of this philosophy is our vision of parity where everyone's worth and dignity is valued and equally supported, and cultural, ethnic and racial diversity is appreciated, and, of course, new ideas are encourage and respected.

We want to invite you to bring your positive attitude and your ideas to the fore to help us build a better world on the strength of our differences so that we can live together in harmony as people and as a nation. indeed, there is wisdom in taking an interest in what is going on in the world and we are delighted to offer a breath of fresh air to the world and its social issues by opening a window of learning to everyone. Absolutely, we care for the world and its social issues and we think that it would be selfish if we said that it had nothing to do with us just simply because it does not affect us; on the contrary, we think we should always help when there is a problem in the world and give its misery a well-needed touch of guidance. The aim of the academy is excellence for All and it will continue to build on achieving high moral principles and straightforwardness through its enterprise.

Things are afoot in our local area

Albeit, finances have been in the spotlight in recent times, as the world appears to be running out of cash, we believe it is an exciting time to think outside the box about ways in which we can contribute to help others to help themselves in our local areas. We believe that it is okay to have a dream; however, we must believe in ourselves and work hard towards making that dream into reality. Indeed, most dreams are achievable but they can only be made possible by our enterprise and resolution."
