A bubbling cauldron of a night, with both excitement and frustration gave the die-hard fans Mets something to crow about as their team finally put to an end the resistance that the National raised last night at Shea Stadium. Opening hurler, Mike Pelfrey, did not have a good game by his standard; nevertheless, once more Mets' artillery responded well and enough runs were scored.  David Wright woke up the celestial stars with four hits and three RBIs while Carlos Beltran, Brain Schneider, and Fernando Tatis also contributed to the victory with plenty of wood to the fire that burned the ambitions of the Nationals during last night encounter. Final score: Nationals  10   Mets  13
