Ryan Church and Brian Schneider defined the meaning of the word prowess in the most emphatic way last night as they formed a double act to display their superior ability to hit the ball to the furthest part of the bleachers. Indeed, it was Ryan church who began the rout as he sent the die-hard Brewers' fans into despair as he dispatched a first-inning grand slam off Dave Bush; however, it was Brain Schneider who exposed Bush's diffidence a bit further in this match as he followed Church with a solo homer, for good measure, to increase the score-line in favour of the visitors which in the end was good enough to see the Brewers off and seal and deliver the series to the New Yorkers. Opening pitcher Oliver Perez had a good night on the mound as he delivered a good performance on behalf of the Mets but it must be said that the bullpen input was a good one too.
