Fearless, free-spirited, magnificent and eloquent are the best adjectives I could find in the english lingo to qualify Pedro's performance at Dolphin Stadium last night. Albeit, he conceded a two-run first inning to the hosts he was more than merely competent during the six innings he pitched as he conceded seven hits and no further runs. Scott Schoeneweis, Aaron Heilman, Pedro Feliciano, Joe Smith and Brian Stokes combined to close the game for the Mets. It must be said that the Mets offensive also played a very important role in securing this victory since it produced three solo home runs during the course of the game, one from Carlos Beltran in the second inning and two more in the third by Nick Evans and the man on fire, David Wright, respectively. Final score:  Mets  6  Marlins  2
