A very warm Welcome to you all.  Our motto is: “Learning is for life and the price is a good education". Indeed, training the young ones to shine in the dark by giving them a helping hand in their quest for brilliancy is our pursuing. Nevertheless, like everything in life, the choice about success is almost entirely in one’s hands; so it is up to the individual to go in search of it and when he finds it grab it with both hands and grip it firmly. Certainly, there is a huge gap between talent and mediocrity in baseball and at Figueras Baseball Academy, we are presently working very hard to reduce that gap. Still, from the coaching point of view, this issue has given us the focus and encouragement we needed to rope ourself and the rest of the coaching staff into shouldering an onus that is clearly ours to deal with. Placing young people at the top of the agenda is the outline of the work we do at the academy for it represents the open sesame to our enterprise which is the dealing and understanding of the human interaction with its environment and recreational activities under controllable guidance. Our coaching staffs have a breath and depth knowledge of dealing with young people as they have the experience, the knowledge and know-how to exploit natural skills and the ability to deal with emotional issues.  Albeit, we have not the resources to involved everyone in our program and scout the country for people who have the natural ability to play baseball and whom one day might be good enough to play Major League Baseball we are determined to carry on coaching the skills needed to be a good baseball player to those who seek that sort of help since we think it would be a mistake if we were to give up our coaching baseball to young people and those who need to be coached as it would only serve to constrain their and our ambitions, expectations and desire for success. We could not do that sort of thing in a million years since our appetite is not just for fine food, fellowship and finery in life, we are hungered for challenges too. It is plain simple we need your support to take center stage and you can help us to help others by sponsoring us as we attempt to create a legacy of respect and learning since ignorance is far too much the penalty to pay for the cost of deprivation.
