We are all in deep sadness for the lost of a baseball coach!

The light that shone so bright on everybody's buddy and his passion for life was extinguished in July 2008 at the age of 40. Of course, I was shocked and saddened to learn of the expiration of an ex-fellow player and my deepest sympathy go to his wife, Genny and sons Aaron and Tobi.  Figueras Baseball Academy has been in mourning since Andy's departure as he was a good friend whose passion for baseball went further than the boundaries of his restriction. Indeed, he was the inspiration for the light of baseball in Hounslow Rangers and Milton Keynes and his commitment to coach the young ones was admirable.  It is my belief that Andy's legacy will live forever in the heart of those who experienced his coaching skills and his ability to find solutions where most people would give up. I raise my glass and drink from the bottle that cheers but does not inebriate to celebrate Andy Simmons' life. Adios amigo!
