Heilman "The Man" made a visible difference on the mound last night when he was called to support the work of Perez as the Mets made the series level!

Two-run stroke in the eighth inning by the man in form, Carlos Delgado, gave the Mets their 15th win in 18 outings and allow them to level the present series with the Marlins. A tour of force was Oliver Perez on the mound, the Mets' starting pitcher, when he allowed only one run in seven innings. Indeed, a mound gives a pitcher a summit on the Diamond centre of the field to aid their throwing so that they can raise up their game to conquer mountains and all that jazz but it was Aaron Heilman "The Man" who impressed me most last night with his gargantuan effort to make the game safe for the Mets. Final score: Mets 4 Marlins 1
