A Flying Start for Lyn and Robbie
Another lovely letter this week, this time from Lyn Armour, whose Brambledale Brown Bear (Robbie), has made a promising start to his agility career.
Lyn writes:
"We had such a lovely time at the SKC show this weekend. My friend Elaine took these photos of Robbie in his first round, a jumping class. It was his first all-jumping class ever and he went clear within the course time and got a lovely 'clear round' rosette, his very first!
On the Sunday, he was entered in two agility classes, and again got a clear round rosette, his first for an agility class... no pictures this time, though, as Elaine was busy running in another ring."
"He learns so quickly, it's a real joy. Last week, he hadn't seen a competition tyre (just my one, of bendy drainpipe!) and tried to go under it; this week he recognised it and flew through it at the very start of the course. Last week, he was a little worried by the pole-pickers, staring so intently at him during his round; this week, he takes them for granted already. I hope you can see from the pictures that he enjoys himself!"
Congratulations to both of them - and our thanks to Elaine, who took the pictures.
