Martin Summers has been a Brambledale owner for many years and his Beardies always enjoy life to the full as he includes them in whatever activities he happens to be involved in, including teaching, sailing, travelling - and just having fun. 

Martin's current companion is B Black Zak, (litter brother to my Nell, Mottie and Merle), who especially enjoys the duck races that Martin organises as part of his work  for an activity holiday company in Cornwall, where Martin is a Forest Ranger.

Apparently, Zak herds the rubber ducks down the river............................and enlivens the race by removing some of them from the water and hiding them on the riverbank - much to the amusement of the spectators.

Zak may have to make do with rubber ducks for herding practice but he is proud of his son and grandson in Scotland who work full time with sheep. Below is grandson Mirk at work in Scotland.
