An interesting two days trialing at Ian Murdoch's, Sheriff Hutton.   The first day was won by Jade, Jackie Cooke's talented Jed daughter, so Jackie got into the double gather final both as the highest pointed Ryedale member, and  1st on the day.   Tragically, Joss was a headstrong shit so wasted a lovely outrun by belting his infuriated shearlings all over the shop and arriving into view with only three of the four. Bob and his Jed son, Shep, were 6th, so were not at that point up for the Double Gather Champonship.

The second day, cooler than the first, seemed to calm the sheep somehow as they definitely ran better, and Joss had a super run that earned 83 points without his shed.   Not in for a place as all the top men were in the 90's, but a chance we might run as the highest pointed Ryedale member for that day !   Untill along came Bob and Shep, who finished well to earn 3rd place, and a stab at the double outrun ... Which they won !

Quite a feather in old Jed's cap, two of his pups so highly placed !
