Jazz and Mary Lott

USA have a busy herding with beardies scene, and I shared the journey with Jazz, Brodie and Harper, who still has Eye... for the cat!

A couple of Pentangle beardies, I am sorry, names escape me, please contact me with details!

Brodie

and Harper... Watch that cat ...

 Mirk, UK.

Roxy and Christine tackle the New texel lambs,

working on a steady pace,

keeping on the boundary

and getting out of corners.

3/10/10

New Handlers trial

Were kind enough to let me run Mirk non competitively in their first class

He started very well indeed but lost his cool and chased one off the course at the end.

More work needed, but I do hope to run a K C beardie at a trial again. Maybe next year!

Thanks Fiona for pics!

A new tool! Stop there!

Mirk Keeping out!

We had a super day with Nij Vyas.

30/5/10

Mirk and I, guided by our host, John Baxter, at his Langbank farm for the Scottish working beardie meeting.

Diva and I, below, working for the teacher, Peter Isted. She was quiet and obedient, a sheep calming strategy dear Mirk needs to learn!

Our two K C beardies were a little over faced by strong, lively, newly shorn hoggs, but were not on their own... We enjoyed the chance to settle them, both dog and human gaining valuable experience. Thankyou very much, working beardies of Langbank!

22/5/10

Diva and Mirk are members of the Working Beardie Society! They attended a recent meeting where sheep were on offer! Keen to see them both away from home, off we went.

Diva tried hard to include a fat red hen in her packet, and worked beauitfully for John Pickett, 'Nothing wrong with that...good brakes'!

Mirk was a bit fast n furious, but I just managed to keep him off and back enough to avoid total disaster...'Like to see him on 300 ewes' Sadly only John could bear to take photos, I was too busy! Send us a nice one without blood in it, please, John!

At Glebe...
