Thursday, 8 October 1874. I went into my district. Aunt Mary arrived. Charles, Lizzie & John Wilkinson came to supper.
Friday, 9 October 1874. I went for a walk with Bob.
Saturday, 10 October 1874. We called on Mr & Mrs H Daniels.
Sunday, 11 October 1874. Went to church morning & evening. Took a walk after dinner in the recreation grounds.
Monday, 12 October 1874. Charles, Lizzie & Mr Stretton came to dinner. Mrs Warham called.

Sunday 25 October in 74. Went to church morning & evening. Mr Charles Wright preached in the morning for the Carates9?0 Aid Society. We went to see Mr & Mrs H.Daniels.

Sunday, 27 October 1874. Took a walk with Georgie. Bob went to London by the 8.43 train.
Wednesday, 28 October 1874. Went to church(?). Bob returned at 7 o’clock.
Thursday, 29 October 1874. Bob went to Derby.
Friday, 30 October 1874. Bob’s birthday. We all spent the evening at the “Lake”(?). Mr & Mrs H.Daniels, Fanny Daniels & John Wilkinson also there.
Saturday 31 October 74. Aunt Mary & Mr C.Wright left. We went to the station to see them.
