Golspie to Brora. 5th May 2013. We had intended walking the Moine Path up near Tongue, but it was thought the time involved placing cars at both ends of the walk would take too long. We decided on a walk along the coast between Golspie and Brora. After some confusion in true Waybaggers fashion we all set off from the shore at the southern end of Golspie. I was glad to get walking as a cool wind was blowing off the sea and I had been finding it quite cold just standing around. It is not a long walk, only 6 to 7 miles but it is a lovely stretch of coastline with a mixture of woodland and sand and pebble beaches. The day improved as we walked to Brora, with it becoming warmer as the sun shone in a clear blue sky. The Moine Path will have to wait for another time after I have studied it a bit more closely.
