tie an ultrahair baitfish

a very easy to tie but very efective baitfish pattern i havent included any length on this as you can pretty much tie it any size you like from micro to massive . the fly here is six inchs long , also this pattern makes a great sandeel pattern for bass or tropical species so if you off on holiday pack a load of these its youll you need to catch fish.

1- materials

 2- tie in your thread just a few wraps

 3- tie in orange micro chanile

 4- wrap up to the hook eye

 5- tie in a short length of white ultra hair

 6- tie in another length of  white length of white ultra hair slightly longer than the first

 7- tie in a third length of white ultra hair again slightly longer than the previous and tie it in right up to the hook eye

8- tie in some olive ultra hair the same length as the last white section in the last step , this gives you the overall fly length

 9 - at this point tie in a length of green flashabou (make it the entire length of the fly

 10 - add in a further 3 lengths of olive ultra hair each section slightly shorter than the last (this will give you the over all fish profile)

 11 - tie off and add a drop of orvis deep penetrating head cement

 12 - stick on a couple of eyes either flat as above or 3 d epoxy

13 - apply a thin coat of epoxy around the eyes and put on a rotary drier to dry and you bait fish is ready
