the humble perch for many it was probably the first predator they ever caught more than likley as a small boy fishing a farm pond or canal , the perch in summer months and autum is a very worthwhile species to go after on the fly , many big fish can now be found pretty much unfished for in trout puddles and i really belive some really big size fish are there for the taking and listed here are the flies to do the job

clouser patterns are also great for perch tie them with plenty of sparkle

sucker grubs are around 2 inch long these flys are deadly for all predatory fish not just perch try them for trout and chub as well
