Place with no Name

This anthology of stories links together inhabitants of a Place with no Name that many readers will recognise as a typical West Coast village…or is it?

Keenly observed and imagined by local author Catriona Tawse, her characters leap from these pages and into life. You will want to know what happened to them all when you’ve finished.

Catriona Tawse (Cat MacRitchie) grew up in Achiltibuie, and was educated at Dingwall Academy.  The stories in a Place with no Name reflect her love for the Highlands and Islands, the Gaelic culture and traditions, and the music that originated in the Western Isles. Sadly, Catriona passed away in November, soon after her book was published.
