These are my thoughts, feelings and fears shared with you all! My mother says we are very brave, my Dad, well, what does he think? Mad, stupid, crazy idiots? Who knows! Dads are very secretive!

At last, passers-by can phyically see that we ARE making progress. This week we had all the rotten window sills removed from the front of the house and replaced with new ones. 'We' just managed to knot, then primer them before the heavens opened to delay 'play'! Oh well, another day tomorrow!

Since last blogging, our conquests are as follows: utility is completed; second bedroom ...once electrics are connected, is finished; we have commissioned an architect to draw up plans for a garage and entrance door with entrance hall, this will include a downstairs loo! We have also looked into having an Orangery added to the back of the house.

We are now getting ready for the next major job, which is to remove all the render from the back and sides of the house and replace with fresh, before painting the 'fourth bridge'! With all the rain we have had this year, I am sure the house would have collapsed by now!
