It has been re-wired, walls & ceiling replastered; rad plumbed in; walls, ceiling & window painted. Just need to finish the skirting boards & architrave. Then there's the door to be dipped and stripped. When dust free we can hang the curtains and arrange the furniture. One little visitor will be happy to have his own room! I am including a section on Christopher Bush/Michael Home in my book on British detective novelists, and I go into his background, which is quite interesting. It is fascinating seeing what you have done with the house--I wish there were more people like you with such a committed sense of place and history.
