This is the outbuilding that was used to store logs and coal...and spiders! Did you know, David doesn't like spiders?

This is inside the Log Store from the new kitchen to the utility doorway. Will have to find a pine door, strip it, clean it up and fit it. I think this is big enough for a loo, don't you think?

The door that now leads through to the kitchen. The new consumer box is now hidden behind this door, along with cabling and plumbing ready to be finished off.

Careful and precise preparation required for the ceiling plate, for the studwork to fix onto.

The studwall is in. This will divide the utility with the downstairs toilet and cloakroom.

Ceiling insulated, lights in. The external door is rotten, it lets in the wind and rain. Better get a new door.

Metal lath has now been attached to the clay lump for the lime plaster to adhere to.

Electric cables and sockets are in. Are we ready to plaster? Have we finished the plumbing? No!

Almost finished, just some units and plumbing to be done! Oh, yes, we can't use the toilet yet, it's just sitting pretty!

This view looks good, new door, reclaimed window... the units are on order and I need to paint the skirting boards and architrave!
