Kathleen Russell’s inspiration
comes largely from her west coast
surroundings. Her prolific output anges
from landscapes and coastal scenes to
domestic interiors, portraits and figure
studies, varying from the dramatic
and stormy to the quiet and tranquil.
Her highly individual and instantly
recognisable style employs water-colour
applied thickly with assured brush-
strokes, expert draughtsmanship and
subtle use of colour.
