HND Architectural and Decorative Glass Artist

 

Kirsty Brady currently works from her studio based in Ardrishaig, Argyll. She set up her studio after graduating in 2005. With work currently on show throughout Scotland.

 

Using the medium itself as the inspiration behind her work and the challenges that glass gives she is able to develop layers of glass, which are kiln fired and annealed. To add texture, depth, colour, bubbles and movement. Her work ranges from small scale jewellery to large architectural instillations. Using the play of light and colour to decorate the space.

 

Living on the west coast of Scotland also gives Kirsty a constant source of inspiration and this is reflected in her work.
