One step at a time...
CONFIDE IN SOMEONE - This is the most important step! If it's a friend, family member or even one of us here at UME, getting things out in the open makes them seem much easier to deal with. As cliché as it sounds, a problem shared really is a problem halved.
STAY BUSY - Sometimes you do need to take some time out and have a day of rest but if you feel at all up to it, try and push yourself to get out and about because you will feel so much better if your busy doing something, especially if its something fun that you can do with your friends. You never know, it might just take your mind off how your feeling.
DON'T STRESS THE SMALL STUFF - Now this one is much easier said than done! Try hard to not worry about small things that don't really matter. Stay positive and really make the effort to look at things rationally and not to over-think everything!
EAT SOME CHOCOLATE - Sounds like a joke but chocolate releases endorphins which help improve mood. Also it's yummy!
If things are seeming constantly difficult and you don't see a way out then the next step would be to..
GO SEE A DOCTOR - They don't have all the answers but you can get reffered to specialists if needed and they can at least let you know if you are just stressed out or if your problems are more severe and you need more help and advice.
