Just down the road for this one!

Ruby had to concede first place in the Bearded Collie Open class to her daughter , though she was not displeased to win a good second with her substitute handler Lindsay.  Honey then went on to take Best of Breed, and second in the Pastoral Group, to the eventual BIS, a strikingly handsome blue merle Australian Shepherd. Judge was Mrs P. Wright (Larool)

In the varieties Ruby did well winning AV Open under Mr G F Williams (Bournehouse), and in the last class of the day, Members' Open Stakes Honey picked up a second place card and a small envelope of cash, a nice surprise!

Meg in the meantime has had a rather restless day.  Poor girl has been most uncomfortable.
