 First lesson - circling Liz having a little play with Bella aged one year. Bella came unstuck from her first home but on the day this photo was taken moved in with Jackie and Bob at The Glebe to start a new chapter in her life. Here she circles the sheep calmly at a good distance |

 Early lesson - "following on" A lovely picture of Meg (Merrythorpe Blackberry Way) happily working "freestyle" in Summer 2007. Unlike her daughter Diva, Meg did not take kindly to the extra pressure of serious training, and nowadays prefers to spectate, preferably from some kind person's lap! |

 Important lesson - the "stop" It took much repetition and some insistence for Diva to accept the "stop" suggestion as willingly as she now does. Here's a nice demonstration - not long ago she would have kept on coming, instead of pausing to let the sheep settle into a steady trot |
