Diva received an invitation to this event a few weeks ago as earlier in the year she had won a qualifying round on a rare trip out to York Canine Association's evening match meeting.

We also had the trophy to return following Honey's exciting Dog of the Year success in 2006.

To our great surprise and pride we found ourselves bringing "our" trophy home again tonight, this time won by Diva - clever girl!  Maybe she'll have to start going to some shows????  I don't know what she would think to the idea if it would mean less time with her beloved sheep, but I'm sure her high level of working fitness can't be doing her any harm - she certainly moved well this evening at the match, and the judge (Ann Pickburn) was very complimentary about her.

Tomorrow we're off to see the sheep so she can get dirty again!
