Thank you to Ann for bringing Bella along yesterday for an informal instinct test with the sheep, it gave us all a glow of satisfaction to see this little bitch, not much more than a pup, have the "lightbulb moment" and begin to move the sheep around the pen.

Within a matter of minutes she was co-operating with Jackie and showing a willingness to learn, and sure enough by the end of the session Jackie had her moving fluently in both directions and learning the "stop" command.

Bella was returned to Ann her breeder from one of those homes which doesn't work out, and as such her future remains slightly uncertain, but with a talent like this she is sure to have a bright one in the right hands.

She will be back for more lessons and I look forward to recording her progress.
