Lacey and Ringo enjoyed the learning experience of their first show, attending Otley Canine Society's Open Show at Leeds, together with litter brother Bentley, half sister Madge, and grandma Ruby.

Lacey won the Bearded Collie Puppy class,  Best Puppy and Reserve Best of Breed under specialist judge Mrs Marilyn Thorpe, and the Pastoral Puppy Group rosette as well, so a great start for her show career, and Ringo was not disgraced, with a third in the Bearded Collie Puppy class and a second in AV Minor Puppy under judge Sue Virgo.

Madge (see photo below) also took the opportunity to show the young ones how it was done, with a first in Bearded Collie Post-Graduate, Best of Breed, and first in the Pastoral Group - a long day, and they will all sleep well tonight!
