Made it to North of England B.C.C. Ch show!

The winter weather has returned to our part of North Yorkshire with a vengeance, and Honey's hardy little family have enjoyed some exhilarating playtimes in the snow, racing, digging and tunnelling furiously until they are too tired to move - such fun!

The humans perhaps don't enjoy it quite so much, and we decided to call off our planned trip to Driffield Limited Show on Saturday, as the roads over the Wolds were considered very hazardous.

We did however venture over to Manchester to the North of England Bearded Collie Club Ch show - main roads all the way apart from the mile down to our village - and the team had an enjoyable day picking up several good placings between them.  Ruby was so pleased to be invited along, and even more pleased to take second in a good Veteran class, plus a fifth in Mid-Limit

Ruby in the Veteran class with Liz and judge Brenda White

Madge gave a good performance again, winning both the Junior and Yearling classes, plus a good second place in Graduate bitch

Creaglion was second in his Post-Graduate class

Also placed were Roxy, Lola, and Cawley - sorry no photos! - so nobody went home empty-handed under judges for the day Mrs Brenda White (Bitches) and Mrs Barbara Walker-Smith (Dogs)
