Last night was the annual Pie and Pea Supper event at our local club, York Canine Society, an evening which combines an educational talk with an opportunity for some sociable fund-raising

This time round the guest speaker was our friend Liz Harris, who spoke about the therapies she has trained in.  Being a versatile lady Liz offers McTimoney Animal Manipulation and Laser Therapy as well as Sports Massage and Reiki, and her clients range from cats and dogs through to racehorses and event horses.

She spoke interestingly about her work, including some fascinating case histories, and then gave us a practical demonstration assisted both by her own dog Maisy and our "volunteer" for the evening Meg - who was delighted to receive some painless adjustments to her spine, neck and pelvis followed by a blissful massage session....
