With a bit of help from friend Dawn we managed to take a team of four Beardies to support this local Open Show on Tuesday, always a good one to walk around with its many and varied attractions.

Beattie and Madge took first and second respectively in the Bearded Collie Junior class under judge Ena Ellwood of the Ellhar Corgis, with Ruby and Diva picking up second and reserve in the Open class.  They then went on to collect various placings in the Pastoral variety classes under the same judge.

A pleasant but unremarkable day until almost the end of the show, when Madge delighted us by winning a strong AV Junior class under the very well-respected Mr Frank Kane, who made some most complimentary and encouraging remarks about our youngster - great! and well done Madge......
