At just over two hours' drive away, this is for us a comparatively local show, and made a pleasant day trip, despite the soaring temperatures which called for constant supplies of ice cream and cold drinks!

Once again we were pleased with our youngsters.  Blake won the Novice Dog class and took second in Junior, under judge Mrs Diane Mottram (Mybeards)

Not to be outdone, Madge decided to win the Novice Bitch class.

She also took a respectable fourth place in a nice Junior Bitch class, holding her own considering she is not yet thirteen months old.

With the date of our daughter's wedding looming ever closer, showing activities will be taking a back seat for a while, but we hope to be at Leeds, giving Madge's litter sister Lola a taste of the show scene - should be fun!
