In all the excitement of new puppies we still didn't want to let Kit's birthday pass without a mention, as our endearing little Ragdoll is one year old today.

On a visit to the Moffat household (Kyleca Beardies in Prudhoe, Northumberland) Liz made the acquintance of Cath Moffat's new Ragdoll kitten, Cleo, and it was definitely a case of love at first sight. An attempt to kidnap (catnap?) the delightful Cleo was foiled by the Moffat family members, however the phone number of Cleo's breeder was obtained and in due course Kit (aka Sekep Knight Rider) came to join us here.

Now totally one of the family, Kit has a great rapport with all our dogs, and has an enchantingly fearless friendly character all of his own. The combination of him and Dillan is an interesting one, as she is truly "a proper cat" - aloof, mysterious and disdainful of the rest of the family most of the time, and only rarely unbends to show us her playful side.  Kit teases and frolics around her until she has no option but to play with him - but never for long!
