How nice it was to be able to attend this open show, held with the local agricultural society and a proper country show complete with horses, cattle, sheep, fur and feather etc .  Ryedale Show has been beset by problems including the foot and mouth disease scare of 2006 and the bad flooding in 2007 which led to a late and financially crippling cancellation.

This year however we were back on track, and the dog show section  had a super entry of over 380.

Honey and Ruby enjoyed a day out and Honey won the Beardie Post-Grad class and Reserve Best of Breed, while Ruby took 3rd in the Open class.  Later we were delighted to win 2nd with Honey in the sponsored Open Stakes class - prize money!!

We were also delighted to see the BOB Beardie shortlisted for BIS and the puppy winner take BPIS.  Well done the Beardies!
