Video - Part 2

The annual weekend Keyboard music Festivals at Barton Hall, Torquay, were produced by Cled Griffin until 2001 when the site was taken over by a German owned company, under the banner of 3D Education and Adventure to cater for holiday breaks for youngsters.

In 1982 Pontin's decided to make use of their Spanish twin tower holiday centre at Torremolinos and in conjunction with the Britisn magazine 'Keyboard Player & Music Maker'  and held a series of "Spring In Spain' week-long holiday breaks until 1986

In 1984 Pontin's decided to put the British week-long events in the hands of two keyboard magazines (Keyboard Player & Music Maker and Organ Player) to benefit from their advertising and moved the event north to their Morecambe holiday centre.   The video below covers the Spanish Festivals and those at Morecambe until 1990, the site closing a short while later.

The video is produced and presented by Alan Ashton, radio broadcaster and journalist.
