Despite somewhat inclement weather conditions on the run-up, the day dawned chilly but bright, and we are glad to say this event took place as planned, with only a couple of longer-distance casualties to the recent snow falls.

Eleven Beardies took part - Nell as senior demo dog had an important role to play and Diva spared time away from her recent litter to put in a guest appearance.  They were joined by Ron Perry's Bess, Avis and Terry Ferguson's Lewis, Diva's dam Meg and litter sister Ellie - plus the eight month old littermates Mirk, Blaze, Cawley, Milly and Willow (all younger full siblings to Diva from Meg's March 2008 litter)

Mirk (formerly known as Murphy) put on a good show, proving his recent training is helping develop an already somewhat exceptional flair for herding, but all the Beardies enjoyed themselves and we had many encouraging moments.

We hope the owners enjoyed themselves as much as the dogs did.
