We are a group of Beardie enthusiasts here in the UK who passionately believe that a Kennel Club registered  Beardie should still be a dog  that can do a 'day's work' Our aims are to maintain the working instinct of our wonderful breed by having fun training our dogs to work sheep & to provide the facilities to enable other enthusiasts to do the same so that they may assess their own Beardies herding instincts.   Whilst it is probably not realistic to think of our Beardies as  expert sheep dogs  we aim to train them to be able to do a useful job around a farm if required to. Who knows one day we may have our own Beardie Trials!

   Although our prime focus is to foster herding instinct in the show Beardie, enthusiastic owners of all Beardies & other herding breeds are always  assured of a warm welcome at our herding events.

Special  thanks go to our  trainer Jackie G,  her expertise & experience in training herding dogs has been invaluable to us, without her advice & enthusiasm our project  would  just not have been possible!
