Thanks Georgiana for taking the trouble to contact the site and apologies for the delay in replying. I have deleted the Guest book page for the moment and I no longer need any more books by Ho Tak Ming. Thank you again for the contact. Best wishes, Eileen

McDonell of Glengarry Scotland
Hi. I have 3 McDonell lines in my tree, all emigrated together from Scotland to New York, on ship Pearl 1773, and after the Rev War ended, resettled in Glengarry Cty. Canada as Loyalists.
I also have 2 Grant lines also from north side Loch Ness, the best researched being Duldraeggan/ Dundreggan Grant.

You are a little outside our designated region I'm afraid but happy to publish your request,
Eileen

Jean Stewart
Jean Stewart was born 5th Oct 1829 at Inverchor, A'anside. She married a John Stewart 27 May 1854. The couple came to Canada in 1855.
The family would love to know who Jean's parents were.
Eileen knows there were some Stewarts living at Inverchor at this time but cannot, at present, locate Jean's birth there. Can anyone shed any light on Jean, please? A photo of Jean and John is available if that would trigger anything through family resemblance. Thank you Eileen for this opportunity to post a query. Jo

Delighted Jo. Like you, I would love to solve this mystery. If you wish to start a conversation about the Inverchor Stewarts with Jo please write to her via the email at the bottom of the page

Eileen, well done.
I will continue my visits to your website as it is the closest I will be getting to Strathspey due to this COVID-19 mess.

Thanks Eric. I hope it won't be too long before you can visit, Eileen
