SKETCH NO. 10

An alternative flyover to Mary Road to reduce gradient and road network improvements around Guildford Railway Station. See separate sketches for one-way Farnham Road Bridge , Cycle Lanes plus two-way Friary Bridge & possible tunnel for Millbrook (Amended on 5 Nov 2017)

A new link is suggested between Guildford Park Road and Woodbridge Road. A road bridge over the tracks at the northern end edge of the railway station site continues as a Flyover and connects Guildford Park Road car park site and Mary Road. Walnut Tree Close is made one-way between the Station View exit and a separate link over the river. The link continues over a new river bridge to join up with Mary Road. A one-way system is created using existing Leas Road and a new link from Woodbridge Road connecting the Police Station and Margaret Road before proceeding to connect up with Mary Road. Yorkie's footbridge is replaced by a road bridge and Station View extended northwards to connect up with this link through Jewson's site.
