Longer term improvements are likely to take several years from now to design and then further few years to implement if and when an a workable solution is found by the councils. However there is an urgent need to do something now to reduce daily congestion during peak hours. Here is a suggestion that might achieve that. Right turn into Park Street is to be for cars only as there is only enough width to run narrow lanes. In the longer term Park Street would have three lanes in my suggested solution.
