Local wildlife organisations
The main societies for local people to join and share an interest in wildlife are listed below.
Paisley Natural History Society has a summer programme of local outings and a winter programme of talks on a variety of wildlife topics. It's a good opportunity to meet other naturalists and swap news.
RSPB Renfrewshire Members Group meets monthly in Renfrew during the winter season and arranges outings during the year. It focuses mainly on birds but wider interests are also catered for.
