City Museum
Stone carving of the head of Quetzalcoatl - The Feathered Serpent. Human sacrifice on a large scale was offered to the Aztec god. The museum has a large holding of Aztec carvings, all fascinating, many frighteningly bloodthirsty.
Does this stone carving represent a shaman's drug-imposed vision of himself as a serpent, a shaman in a snake's costume, a man being swallowed by a huge serpent, or something spiritual? (Drawing Pen)
