Blue Sunday

Again I was still in Turkey when this was held and it proved that when it comes to helping charity, this club is at the forefront. This year's benificiary of the George & Jenny Mackay Memorial Pairs was the local diabetes clinic, hence the blue theme. Raffles were run,  bottles were stalled, cakes were baked and burgers burned all in a very good cause. 

For the second time this season the ladies were to the fore as the competition was won by Catherine McEachran and Marion Reid who saw off Archie Johnston and Stewart Blue in the final. 

On closing day we presented a cheque for £900 to nurse Judy Semple of the diabetes clinic.
